• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Good news WE can all appreciate

give it time
soon there will be all sorts of bs comments about why you are wrong
this will turn political faster than a cow patty draws flies

Oh Oh....

Something certain groups do not want you to know but you can't change facts even if they are not to ones liking. True there will be a scramble to find some location within the country where the facts don't hold true and that will be the focus....In this day and age you have to find your own facts for there are few that can gather the facts as just that....

It is not political to start with ??
Good news, no doubt, but it is not the WHOLE story.
How about digging up what the average wage IS for all of those new jobs ?

AND.....how about mentioning that the momentum for that started WAY before the current Administration took office.

More folks in the workforce, means that there'll be fewer of them taking my tax money! nojoke

You just made it political.
sorry if these facts bother you.

They don't "bother me" in the least.
It is, in fact, good news.

I am just a bit skeptical of your motives for posting it out of the blue like that though.

My motives, what the heck does that mean.
it's a good news graphic, no more no less.
:banghead::banghead:

It's good news regardless of exactly why. If the low wages are because they didn't get an education or learn a useful skill, there's still night school. If they have a low paying job and a college degree where they learned psychology, sociology, and theology so that they where prepared for life in the 13th century, there's still night school.

SIGH.
The low wages are because of the type of jobs being created.
That has NOTHING to do with the skills or abilities of the pool of workers available.

I really have to disagree with you on this. I teach at a local community college. At this time there is a lack of a skilled workforce. We have more lawyers and accountants than we will ever need. When guidance councilors from local high schools come by, l enlighten them by letting them know that a student with a two year degree and a skill will start a career at twice what they make. We have more job vacancies than we have skilled labor to fill them.

Yes, it's good news.
The problem comes when assigning blame or taking credit.
Personally I think the economy is so much bigger than the government that it's wrong for anybody to claim credit or take blame. The economy does what it wants to do. George W. Bush didn't cause the recession, ***** didn't fix it but he did leave things alone so it could fix itself, and Trump didn't cause the current boom although he hasn't hurt things, either. I don't think any of the three deserves the bad rap they get.
