• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I have the Aspen Sentry. Traveled all over the Northeast this summer with no problems at all. Weighs about 300 pounds, opens in 3 minutes to a queen-size bed, torsion suspension, with storage underneath for all my supplies. Plan to use it a lot after I retire next year!

Had a chance to look at these last year at Sturgis. My Dad had been talking about them since he saw them at a previous rally and had heard great things about them. Really nice tent trailers. I don't have any personal experience pulling one though. But it is on my list to get one next year when I buy my Spyder. : )

Roaddog just gave HDX some 1980's tent trailer thing. I won't sleep in it. He can tent in the parking lot of the hotel I stay in.:2thumbs: I think he should gut the tent and use it for mc storage and paint it up nice. Trail like that but not sleep in it.

i have a fibreglass model which completely seals......

i have riden in terrentional rain towing this which weighes fully loaded about 250 to 300 have done mountains dirt ect.....only time it stuggled was on a steep incline on a wet muddy road going aroung a corner that had a hump in the middle to direct flowing water........it wouldnt get over it, but it was wet and very muddy

the spyder tows very well and you do not feel the trailer on the back........even at 120km........

as for what type that is a personal thing as well as a cost thing

i chose mine for the simplicity of everything staying dry in wet whether.....tarp coveres will eventlually seep in the water.....

my trailer is equipped to carry gear for 10 people and the actual tent is large enough to sleep 5 (queen and 3 stretchers.....)it also has roof racks which are handy to carry a small watercraft, boards or marquess.....

hope this helps

I looked at these--- pretty neat... but the Roll-A-Home units are a better deal--- and made in the USA.

I also looked at the Aspen Sentry--- which gets a lot of bang for the buck.

If I revisit the camper thing---- which I researched a lot this spring---- I'll most likely go with the Roll-A-Home.
