• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I know this is an old issue. Bought a 2011 rt limited, have seen links for the scoops but says page does not exist. Any suggestions on where to buy?

I got mine from velocity power sports in ladson south carolina a couple years ago. think the kit was about 70/80 bucks. installed them myself. should be able to still source them from a spyder dealer.

I was told that the air scoops are no longer available from BRP. They may be out there somewhere, but you will have to search for them. This comes from a pretty good source.

Once you have the part number, you can google it for a source;

Air Scoops?

I ordered mine on line received them and installeed them in two 4 & 1/2 days. Follow instructions EXACTLY and cut body work Carefully and you will be pleased with the outcome!

Heat Management Scoops

This kit will definitely fix that; former owner should have had it done under the recall program.

I have '13 RT L which has the scoops installed presumably by dealer. I have had some issues with the left side panel, have lost it twice during rides even at fairly low speeds. I always check the installation after checking the oil. But adding the extra air to help the cooling issues seems to add more "pressure" behind the panel and has caused it to come off. Anyone else have similar experience?

Ok I found them on bike Bandit for $67 plus shipping. I have a 2011 rt limited, it has the honey comb vents on the panels below the mirror. Before I spend the money, will they fit?

Hey Randy. They don't just plug and play. There's a little cutting involved on the outer panel - a template is supplied - and you remove the inner black panel under that - called the acoustic panel. And I believe the kit will include a brace that is installed in place of that acoustic panel. A number of folks on here have done the install themselves. So, just a little work involved for the install, but they fit.

I can deal with the cutting and fitting, just want to make sure they will work with me 2011.
thanks for the input.
