• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Weather is finally fit for riding. Oh yea, planning and packing for Spyder Fest. Is it to early for that?

spring has sprung...kind of. Mid 60s today, snow tomorrow?
a neighbor asked if I was taking the spyder out.
I had to say no, because I don't want to "squash" my trade in deal.
Waiting instead for delivery of the NEXT one, more on that in a later ping...

I think everyone is getting tired of all of the political crap, personal attacks, rude and/or insensitive comments of late. I know I am.

Just the calm before the storm I'm thinking. I will be riding in about a week. Waiting for the last thirty feet of ice in my driveway. Then--it's clear sailing.

I also find myself posting less these days. I have decided to stay out of the political discussions. They seem to be pretty much one sided and they are a "can't" win variety anyway. I read some of it--but that is now going to be the extent most of the time.

There are still a few that take rudeness to a new level. I have actually put one person on "ignore" for the first time in my SL history--which dates back to 2/2010

Another cycle, and that too shall pass. :roflblack:

I'm so glad you said this. All this hate and discontent has gotten pretty old. Its time to get ready to ride and have some well needed fun. Happy Trails to you and all the spyder family.

10 degrees and 6 inches of snow Tuesday, makes working and riding a wee bit ... Not fun...

Cold weather, here in Vermont, they are forecasting snow, this week-end, temps in the 30's. They are forecasting 2-3 inches of White Gold,( snow) this week-end.

Spyder is still in hibernation ( waiting until next week-end). I have been doing outside yard work, etc.& that 4 letter word( work) gets in the way, before the spyder riding season starts here in Vermont.

That seems to be the way here. One day it was 80. Now its 40 and this weekend is rain cold and possibly some snow flurries later on. Just can't wait to get out and ride. Maybe soon. Happy Trails to all.

Still Snow on the ground here in Maine, just came back from 6 weeks in Clearwater,FLA.! Rode almost every day! I'm still a "Newbie" and don't want to ask too many dumb questions! EVEN THOUGH Almost Everybody on here will give Me or You an answer to a bike related question!

Still here

I'm like a lurker.... only post where I find something worth saying. Soon as the winter ends.... travel stories should abound....

I am only talking about the Enabled Riders page. I don't have time for the other crap either. Just looking to connect with my "enabled" brothers and sisters.
Riding in comfort,
John
