• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Can Am Spyder F3 Cannonball Comfort Seat

Has anyone tried this OEM seat option? Really looking to upgrade just the front. Might wait off until Spyderfest and see what's available there?

I have the Cannonball seat (both driver and passenger), and it does make a difference. When I bought mine from another S/L member I bought both parts, so I do not know if you can buy one without the other if you get it from a dealer.

+1, Sometimes I think that factory designed upgrade seats are overrated but the Cannonball I got from a fellow S/L as well has turned out to be quite comfortable. Like yourself Blue Star, I got the entire front/back ensemble. I had tried using an Airhawk seat cushion for added comfort when I had a wonky hip but 6 months post left hip replacement, I ditched the Airhawk and find that the Cannonball seat really fits one into the trike as opposed to sitting on top of the trike. I also really love my Can-Am floorboards and backrest that I added which make the whole package near perfect for my current physiology. Bob

Love my Cannonball

My F3s came with the Cannonball on it and I love it. Last summer I did a 13 hour day of ryding and not a sore bone/muscle was to be found!

The Cannonball is a nice upgrade from the stock seat, but, If you are going to spend that kind of money there are far better options. Check out Russell Day Long Saddles. For about the same money, an amazing seat and it can be made to match your current back seat.

:agree:, Russell Day Long.

I had a Cannonball seat

That came with my F3T (it was a demo bike with extras added on). It was okay but I went back to a Russell Day Long. I have had a Russell on my last two bikes and even though the Cannonball was not bad, it just didn't compare to the Russell for me. Each person is different. You talk about having some medical issues. I can say that after 9 knee operations (1 a replacement) and having broken my back in 5 places, Russell is the only way I will go. My wife has an RT and she put a Russell on it. She has had both of her hips replaced and states that the difference is night and day.

For the money you will spend I recommend that you call Russell and discuss your situation with them. Just my .02 worth.
