• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Has the F3 been improved?

I do miss my F3. But it was a first year model and was nothing but trouble for me. So I wonder if they worked out the bugs.

I suspect that you just caught with one of those "first year disaster" builds. nojoke
While they are still essentially the same bike: they have made significant quality control upgrades, and added new models that DO offer new features.

Happy Shopping!

A friend of mine has a 2015 F3S and loves it. It has been rock solid for him with about 9k miles.
I wanted more storage, but decided to make the switch to a 2016 F3T when the stereo and bags were added. I have owned it for only about 10 months, but have nearly 9.5k trouble free miles (knock on wood). My only request would be for more power. But I am one of those guys that want more power in everything.

Our 2015 has been great

Jacque has nearly 15K trouble free miles on her 2015 F3S. There have been 3 recall items, but all were handled quickly and easily by our dealer, Sierra Cycles.

I had a 2015 F3S The only issue I had is that the Water pump started leaking, replaced under warranty. Other then that, never had a problem. Traded it in last year for a 2017 F3T because I liked the extra technology, saddlebags and windshield on the newer model. Rides about the same as the F3S. The F3S might be a little quicker since it has less weight.

You certainly had issues with your F3 and unacceptable repair times. Your hesitation to purchase another one is understandable.

But, there are enough of us on here with 2015 F3's that have been problem free and it seems you simply had a bad one.

You have a choice of 4 different versions of an F3 now so go ahead, fear not!

Perhaps a different dealer?

I had $10,000 of repairs covered under warranty on my F3. Without the warranty, it would be a boat anchor sitting in my garage. My experiences also steers me away from Ducati's. I love Ducati's, but damn. There are horror stories all over YouTube. My cheap Ninja 650 has 20K of trouble free miles. But the problem is...it's a cheap Ninja 650. Not anything to get too exited about owning. It's like owning one of these. And yes, I had one, same color as this :p

I understand. I purchased a Honda CRV, would never own another Honda because I had nothing but problems with it since day one. Other people would never own anything but a Honda.

I have the same bike a 2015 F3S and it has the exact problem and should be repaired this week under warranty. Other than that no issues.

I have one of the first 100 F3s built in early 2015. Bought it at Pit bull during Spyderfest 2015. It now has well over 20k miles and has generally been problem free. I do not baby it either.

Arctic Adventures in Rosendale, NY is advertising a new F-3 Daytona Special for abut 18K...

Sorry to hear about the Chevette...

I bought mine in November 2015 and have had no serious problems. I will selling mine for £1000 in a few years and treating myself to a new one.:yes::yes:

Sounds more like ....

I know, I keep hearing that. Perhaps my unit was assembled on a Friday afternoon just before a big drinking party.:(

I put a lot of money into myF3, a 10K down payment and another 4K of mods. That money is gone.

Sounds more like yours was built on a Friday afternoon AFTER a big drinking party!

Is that "1000", or "10000"? :dontknow:
If it's the former: I call dibs on it! :D

Hi Bob, its the former £1000.00. I was going to give it to charity but a friend advised me to sell it to someone that really wants it. I have a queue of peopling wanting to buy it, but I have told them I won't be selling it for a good few years because firstly I have an attachment to my F3-S and secondly I await for that special second Spyder to come into my life. Most of you know I call my Spyder "Sandra" the next Spyder in my life will be called "Pamela".:roflblack:

Is there a lady behind that name choice?

Our new one is "Trinity"
It's the third one, and she was a pretty tough lady!
