• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Local chapters

I've been checking out the forum "Local Spyder Lovers Chapters" and I notice some good interaction in the states that have a high density of Spyderlovers in a relatively small area. So I check to see where I fit in...Canada. Canada? Are we kidding here? Canada is a LARGE place. Out on the West Coast, I don't feel all that "local" with the folks who live in Ontario or the East coast provinces. I mean, it would be hard to set up rydes, get togethers or events, you know? I dont know if most provinces would warrant their own site, but I'm pretty sure Ontario would. And BC is coming along. My local dealer sold 4 Spyders last month. How about it, Lamont?

Here's how I do this on my other sites. If you get enough members in your local area using the Canada board I'll create a smaller regional board for you. I could break it down to cities too but have never needed to and it not like your post are getting lost in the mix on that board.

I see how the process works, Lamont, but the way it's set up nobody is likely to have any use for an all-Canada board. It's just not "local". I'll bet if you tried say a Southern Ontario board it would far outperform say Utah, Maine or New Mexico.
