• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

First big long ride alone.

Starting last Monday I took off on a solo adventure. I made a run to Big Bend National Park. It was a great ride. It was a place that I never expected to be that captivating. What a great place to ride! The scenery is outstanding and the roads were great. Highly recommended.

:yikes: WOW, that's an adventure indeed; going that far this time of year can be risky business with weather that can turn nasty in the blink of an eye.

Good on you for getting out there.

Hoping you had time to see some other sites in the lone star state. Our hill country area is some of the best riding you will find anywhere in the country.

Congrats! I am the squeemish type. I love to ride, but I never go more than about 200 miles alone. Guess I like to have company around for the unexpected. I also am just a great guy to be around:joke:.
But really, great for you getting out there. I hope to do the same one day soon.

Good to hear...

Loved ryding around Texas the two times I lived there. Did many solo rides (no spyder then) and do like to from time to time even here in Southern California. You must have had a wonderful time and cleared many things from your mind at least during the ryde...:2thumbs:

Solo riding I think turns a trip into an adventure. I really look forward to my annual week-long solo adventures.

The total was 2800 for the week. I cut it short by a few days because the weather closed in at home. You were really right about clearing the mind. I took whatever route I wanted and rode as long or short as I cared to. Was awesome and I will do it again soon!
