There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. 1,200 miles of ryding, including travel to and from San Diego. Keith on his RTw/trailer and me on the RS. I got great milage keith not so much with his trailer and the desserts winds. We experienced "climate change " first hand..hot then cold put on more gear take extra gear off over and over...:roflblack::roflblack: ryding weather was nice with no rain where we rode some flurries in some areas. Vendors were vey busy early and when rydes returned. Many familiar faces...spyderpops, sealboards, Tricled, spyderlyter, spyder attitude, can am spyder acc/spyderTV, pinstripping, zoozmc, kilm and the anchor team of Squared Away...:roflblack: the socials went well and the closing dinner was a ful house. Lots of prizes everyone enjoyed their time there. I met many spyderlovers sadly missed a few. Nice to put a face to the handles. Have pictures but having trouble uploading will try again later...all in all well done Kaitlyn and crew got a standing ovation and well deserved. Sadly it looks like next year is not going to happen but plans are for Idaho in 2019.....

Yep, that's high desert riding. Glad you had a safe and fun trip.

Is Red Rocks not happening next year, or are you saying you won't be able to make it next year?

Not happening....

There is still the NorCal Rally over here then all the others but distance and time become an issue... Hope they do the 2019 in Idaho...:dontknow:

And it was a pleasure to meet you at Red Rocks Chupaca. I am glad you all made it home safely. Cynthia and I made it home OK also but our trip was only about 4 hours. We had 3 football games to catch up on,North Sanpete,Lone Peak and BYU. All lost, oh well.:(:gaah:

Besides getting to meet Gene,we also met several other wonderful people and spend some time with them.What a great opportunity. And so many seemed to be from Texas. We met a great couple from just outside Fort Worth. Bruce and Judy Paris love to ride their Spyder and go to rallys as often as possible. Because of medical conditions she drives and he is second seat and they love it. We spent a delightful day with them and hope to continue the friendship.

There will be no 2018 Red Rocks Rally, we have been encouraged to attend the Deadwood 3 wheeler rally,and of course there is the NoCal Rally. Katlyn said Klim has invited her to bring the rally to Idaho Falls for 2019. I hope to be there then.

Katlyn and Geoff, thanks for your dedication and service to the Spyder community in general and especially to those of us in the west. So many events are planned back east,so thank you for bringing some of that community to us.

Gene, it was great to see you and Kieth again. I led a couple of rides and met many people that are into spyders. Can't wait for Idaho Falls in 2019.

I found this on their FB page;

If you were not there at the banquet last night, the answer is yes, the rumors are true. We will be taking 2018 off to take time to recharge and plan a bigger and better event for 2019!! We have been invited so graciously by KLIM to host the next event in Idaho Falls, ID. This will include rides to Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, and more!!!!!
So in the meantime, check out the Deadwood Three Wheel Rally in South Dakota next year with their event in mid-July 2018.

Gene, as always it was great to see you! I thought I had pictures of you and our "Pit Crew" but I don't. If you're thinking about AZ in December come to Surprise Dec 8-10 and see us there.

I talked with Kaitlyn a while back before this years rally. With all that she has on her plate she needed to take 2018 off to "recharge" and hoped to do an event in 2019. I am going to NorCall next year and plan on doing both Deadwood rally and Idaho falls in 2019. Perhaps a rally will be held again in St. George again, if not I will make my own trip down there. Kudo's go to Kaitlyn for all the hard work she has put in not only for Red Rocks but previously SITR as well.

Thanks for posting about the RR Rally. The one thing I miss is that it is so far both distance and travel time to get down to our favorite place to ride. AZ, UT, and points North just don't get much better. And...we have never met a :spyder2: rider/passenger we did not like.

If we end up moving to AR, you folks may end up seeing a lot of Linda and I.

She is a pioneer for sure. These events wouldn't have happened without her vision and determination.
