• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

iPod Issues

Does anyone else have issues with the iPod cutting out when going under a power line? My 2016 RT-S has done this since the day I purchased it and my dealer can't figure out a fix. We've changed iPod's, tried different connection cables, and replaced the CanAm connection in the trunk. I had to pullover twice yesterday to fix it since instead of just cutting out, it went completely out.

We have a 2013 RT - I have noticed when it is hot it will cut out or skip if you will. We just returned from a 4 day 1500 mile trip and it acted up only when it was 85+ for a few minutes and then never again, I have never figured it out and I don't believe we were near any major power lines but I will look for this the next time it does it.

I know this wasn't helpful a lot other than to know it does seem to happen to at least us.

Nope, my iPod Touch works flawlessly in my '14 RT S. Are you using the iPod connection or the earbud connection? I'm using the iPod connection so my iPod is always charging/charged.

just a thought tho.....is it just your iPod or does the radio cut out also? Maybe a poor ground?

Yes ... mine cuts out at random. When it does, I see USB on the console and if I switch to the audio section "no device" ... then it comes back on. I have even gone so far as to tie the BRP and Apple USB cables together with a loop of leather (so it can't vibrate loose). This all started happening after the compressor was replaced and some SERIOUS CB issues showed up -- see: http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/showthread.php?107345-CB-Trouble-AGAIN-VENT-and-Dealer-BLACK-EYE

I am to the point where I believe that the dealer (C&S Fun Center) damaged the entertainment harness when the compressor was replaced and, possibly, didn't properly restore all the grounds when the back end was assembled. It's all very annoying!

Not on an IPOD but similar ..... the connection for my X-M stereo radio is similar to yours and it's ALWAYS loose the system even tells me that it's the Antennae connection causing the problem :banghead::banghead::banghead: ..... I have now wrapped rubber bands around the connector and the x-m receiver screen ... this su*ks but it works ..... Good Luck ......Mike

USB

My 16 F3T has a USB dongle in the glove box and it too has been acting strange
intermitantly. I've tried 3 different cables and 2 devices. My I-phone will say its
charging but the dash says no device and my android tablet will be charging
and the dash will say no data.
The upside kinda is I can plug in the aux audio cable and listen to my music,
I just can't see the song or artist on the dash and advance to the next song.
Everybody knows it won't do it when you take it to the dealer, so I'm hoping it
will it will quit so the the dealer can isolate and fix the problem.
