RT Dash Mount

How difficult is it to get power up to the dash mount, bought some clothing that could use easy access to juice.

I ran a wire up through the windshield swing arm. There is lots of room, and does not interfere in any way with the movement of the windshield. I used a cable tie (zap strap, zip strip or what you call them where you live) to secure it to one of the holes in the mount. I use the power for a GPS.

I'll admit it---- I copied JT's design and fabed up a copy of his dash mount. It's GREAT. a little taller and bent the way I want it. It's a must for mounting the GPS.

I put one dash mount in the shopping cart and try to order 2 each of the balls and long arms, and it keeps increasing the quantity of the dash mounts too. I tried to back out and go back in after each piece ordered, and it still won't work. If it keeps the dash mount at 1, it keeps the other items at 1 also. Arrrghh!!

Hi Tyris, for heat gear I would suggest this item for you.
It's mounted around the handle bar which is a lot easier to reach for power.
We have 2 options custom made for RT and F3 series model.

1 side has 2 USB plus of 2.1A each, then the other is cigarette plug.

I attached some pictures here as well as the product link.

I love this and wish BRP would've used a similar setup on other Spyder models.

I have a 2014 ST-S SE5.

Any chance anyone knows if there is a solid dash mount setup for an ST-S?
