• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Does anyone out there know where I can get a travel tool kit for the:spyder2: I would appreciate directions.

Thanks

The tool kit that comes with the Spyder is very good I just added a few tools to it that I felt would help based on working on the Spyder I will make a list when I get a chance and post it. From what I read you should also load in some relays there are several posts on this. Maybe someone who has made some long trips could suggest a few things. Oh and don't forget the duct tape. ;)

I would add a flash light (problems seem to happen at night), plastic gloves, rags and a pair of pliers.

I added a small fire exstwher in trunk going to put hose 's in my engin compartment so when or if I get one I pull a ring and it floods my engin on my spyder like gasstations ingulfs the fire with powder .....

Does anyone have a good option for a cheap torq wrench with the bits necessary for our bike? I have one that I use in my garage but a small travel one would be nice in case I have to fiddle with the panels or something like that...

If you mean a true adjustable torque wrench, this one is cheap:

"BikeMaster Adjustable Micrometer Torque Wrench" with micrometer type sleeve Reversible ratchet head Hard plastic storage case included 3/8” Sq. Dr. marked range (5-80 Ft. Lbs)

But I think is better to carry just a regular ratchet for emergencies and re-adjust to the exact torque once you are back home or in a shop

For the bits is cheaper to buy the few you need off the rack but some times there are cheap metric sets on sale and you could just carry the bits the Spyder uses. My 2 cents...
