There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The Aprilla Tuono in the list is running the same Rotax 990/998 engine that was in the earlier spyders....So we did well....:roflblack::roflblack:

V-Max and ZX-11

 There's a whole lot of fun in those numbers! :2thumbs:

Many folks here have had bikes that are on that list. For me the ZX-11 (not stock ) was great fun. Still have the V-Max----- Just make sure you're pointed at a clear, straight road when the V-Boost hits.

Yep, I had the ZX14. I must say that is the scariest bike that I have ever owned. The ZZR1200 also made the list. That is (I believe) one of the fastest carburated bikes out there.
One that I still desire is the 2nd. gen. Vmax.

They left one out. The LS-218 Lightning. Probably because it is electric. But it is (or will be shortly) a street legal production motorcycle.

Top Speed - 218 MPH
0-60 in less than 2 seconds (better than any listed here)
1/4 mile - Less than 10 seconds

The Zero is on there so I don't see why not or maybe because it is a bike that actually exists. Too bad cause the lighting was a damn fast bike even at what they they were asking for it.

very cool list. Only thing I had was a V65 Magna for two months before a flying W took it and me out. I rode a a V max for 1/2 mile and turned around. F that thing. Amazing bike but damn was it scary.

Do you remember when these bikes were the "top Dogs"?

This one actually sounded as if it had a great launch, and a good, solid run! :2thumbs:

Ron,
Even if the LS-218 wasn't that fast: it sure is a pretty bike! :2thumbs:

I'd love to try the Lightning. 478 lbs and no transmission. 1 Gear goes from 0-218 mph without shifting. That's a BIG advantage in both the 0-60 and 1/4 mile times. Amazing! Can you imagine 0-60 in less than 2 seconds? Probably closer to 1 second than 2.
