• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New Carport

Since my wood working/turning tools are stealing all of the space in the garage, I needed something to protect the cars, especially in the 100+ for weeks weather. I finally bought a 21x24 x 7' tall carport from West Coast Metal out of Salem, OR. The main problem is that you need to wait 6-8 weeks for delivery. When I decide I want something I want it now. Since there aren't many people building these WCM can be a pain to deal with, but they have brokers all over the place and you just bite the bullet and order one.

They call you a week ahead giving you the day and time to expect the delivery and install. I must say, they arrived on time and in 2 hours it was installed. Perfectly level and secure. Bottom line is that it is a good deal and well executed. I paid $1750.

Nice. (About the same cost as the trailer you're selling too!) I've been thinking about getting one of those carports.

I'd sure like to sell the trailer to pay for it, but GOD isn't that kind in my case :shocked::shocked:

I agree there is plenty of room for a party, using a few tarps and its enclosed too.

Very nice...

And it looks good with the house. Good all year around with plenty room for a mess of spyders...:roflblack:

Very nice. Well worth the money.

I've got a 21x26 10' tall with sides and rear wall.
Does a great job of keeping my equipment out of the weather for a affordable price.

There are a lot of those going up in this area. A friend of mine put up 2. One of them he had them totally enclose and install a garage door. My brother has 3. One for his suv and car, one for his motor home (tall one), and one that he uses for a wood shed to keep things dry since he has one of those exterior heaters that provide hot water and everything. They are a real bargan. My brother installed extra braces on his for added piece of mind.
