• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

NMN Riser Questions?

I currently have a BRP 1" riser. I want to add the NMN 3" riser kit. I have 2 questions: 1st-with the NMN riser kit installed, will the steering lock still work? 2nd- with the NMN riser kit installed, can I install the mccruise cruise control box on the bottom of the turn signal/light switch box?

Thanks for any help anyone can give me on this!

The answer to #1 is "Yes." The steering lock shouldn't be affected by the risers, with the possible exception of the clutch lever hitting a larger windshield in the far right turn position. You may not be able to use the lock on that side.

Can't answer question #2 for sure, but you had better check closely. The McCruise control sticks to the right quite far. I had to move my hand from the grip to hit the last button on Joan's. As long as it doesn't stick past the clutch mounting bracket, you would probably be OK. Maybe SpyderRyder810 has a picture close up in that area that you can use to judge. Second, the left control may be tilted back further with the risers, depending on how much angle you need. That could tuck the McCruise control under quite far, but I doubt it would totally prevent access, it just may not be as easy.

Yes, I was wondering if the cruise control box would/could be mounted so the right side is flush with the clutch mounting bracket.
Good idea to ask Joan! Thanks!
