• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

jacking points for a spyder rt limited 2016

BOW

New member
I was wandering how I can lift up my 2016 rt to change the oil a little easier with a motorcycle jack?

If you're talking the Motorcycle ATV style jack, keep the back rail forward of the end of the center frame end (usually in line with the Front footrest/pegs.

Let's see....

20150630_123305.jpg adjust to your model to lift balanced. If on A stands one under each A arm joint by the wheels in front and one under the rear shock. Use a piece of 2x4 to span the mount...

Thank you for your help

I was looking through the forum, and saw what you was talking about on one of Lamonster's thread and I see what you are saying, but the one thing I am not getting is about the 2x4 placement. Also a person on hear said that he thought that it wasn't a good idea to put jack stands under the A arm's. Like I said this is going to make it easer to work on my spyder. again thank you for your help:yes::clap:

Jack stands

I put them under A arms every day. No harm, no foul, no damage. Go ahead, it will be fine.

If you can put a jack stand under the A arms doesn't that also imply that you can jack it up there (to change a tire, for instance)?

I put them under A arms every day. No harm, no foul, no damage. Go ahead, it will be fine.
