• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Another Hindle Wrinkle

I recently picked up a used Hindle and stuck it in a cabinet to install at a later date. All of the postings regarding the muffler motivated me to get it out and do a more informed inspection of it. It doesn't have the slots so that can be remedied easily enough. Here's my concern...there seems to be a big descrepency in the pipe diameters and the spring connector is facing the front, where my stock setup has it towards the rear.

Anybody else find their's this way???

I think yours is the first that I've seen posted. It will make it a little difficult to use the spring. :dontknow:

Seems as if QC is a little lacking between the slots and the spring mount. :gaah:

My spring is on the front on the y-pipe but the Hindle has a clip for a spring both front and back.

Mine is the same - there were no slots on the flange & the clamp would not fit. My Hindle is sealed and spring held. I admit it was a #$$## to put on, but it seems to work fine.

Mine is on the back side & Lamonts is on the front (that's kind of weird). I hooked my spring up from the left side of the Spyder. Put the spring on the Hindle then stretched it to connect to the Y pipe. Spyder is not at home so I can't go out and look, but I believe it also has two spring connections on the Hindle. I had no problem getting my clamp to fit, but I do have a leak I can't get to stop. Tried two different kinds of sealer, Permatex being one of them.

Did you cut slots in the Hindle?
