• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

what do you folks think of this slingshot

I like the grey one. The red and white one looks stupid, but they have improved the slingshot to where it might work better.
The rear is so much better than the original Polaris.
I like it a lot,
but I don't see the value. I'd go with a late model Miata.

I think a detachable roof and side curtains, along with reasonable saddlebags which can be quickly removed, would increase the utility of the Slingshot immensely.

If I had the disposable cash .....

If I had $25K just laying around I might have a black one in my stable for those rare occasions I get the itch ..! Otherwise nope .. my Spyder fills the bill just fine ..!

>>>NOT<<< I Repeat, NOT a Spyder, that's for sure

Also, NOT a motorcycle, or even a decent convertible.
Disposable Cash... What's left after your Spyder(s) is(are) right......

Ditto! Ohio actually calls it a car now. No motorcycle endorsement needed for that thing!
They actually classify it as an autocycle. No m/c endorsement needed but Federal m/c manufacturing rules apply. 31 states now have an autocycle definition in their motor vehicle laws, three wheels, steering wheel, and seat are the requirements in common.

I might think of it when I am 90? Then again most people say they are pain in the Rear Fender to get in and out of. Wouldn't go to well with my Walker?

A vast improvement on the rear end plus some storage to boot. I always thought the rear end looked unfinished.

Saw one traveling on the highway and they had added a top rack and had luggage strapped to it last week.

I do like the T Rex and Arial Atom. They appear more high end than the Sling. But I would not see them as motorcycles either.
