There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

No, it has nothing to do with me. If it did it would not qualify as significant.
But I'm on thin ice here. I don't want to get in trouble and get banned from the BBQ.
Lamont would probably let me ride all the way over there, burn up all that gas and travel all that way on a worn out tire, then tell me I was not invited if I let this one get out.
I don't even have permission to tell anyone that I know! So forget I said anything about it.

I've been getting phone calls, PM's and emails about the Spyders in the Smokies event. This event is put on by SpyderTalk and they had a great turnout last year. Here's the info for the event.

Last year I did my BBQ at the same time to kill two birds with one stone. You guys got to ride in my backyard and you had the option of having a little fellowship and free food with us at my place.:doorag:
This year I'm going to cater the BBQ from a local that makes some killer BBQ, the best I've had around these parts. I promise it will be worth your time and the fellowship will be great.:thumbup:
The date is Sept. 24th Thursday. You can show up whenever you like but we should eat around 6pm. I would say from noon on will be fine.

Butch and Carrol have offered to make up some free shirts for the BBQ and I kinda need to get a count on how many of you are going to try and make it. If you would please post here instead of the other thread if you plan on being here. I know things may change but this will give us a start.
