• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ordered the 2 up shock on the 5th- Still NO Progress toward shipping and the PalPay was charged the First Day thru PayPal Express they use? 2 Phone calls and No Live Person available and No Return Call YET.
Start looking up reviews AND just wish I had ordered from my dealer who would have had it for me in 3 Days as Usual from BRP in CT...
Hard to cancel an order if You can't even talk to a human being!!!

I ordered several things form them. Best price, but slow on delivering. You will get your stuff. They have always delivered. Don't get a notice from them, parts just show up at the house. Wish they would give more info on parts that are ordered.

I just today received my order from them that I placed 2 weeks ago for the Air Scoop kit. I even paid an extra $27 for next day delivery! There's nothing on their website to warn you the thing is not in stock and has to be ordered from BRP. Same thing - phone calls, emails, website contact form - never heard anything back from them. Never again will I order from them because their customer service is nonexistent.
 
I have looked at a couple of items on their site but didn't order. I will not use them ... don't like delays and no communication.

That was my experience with them also. The price is good but you have to be extra patient for delivery.

I'm guessing they don't carry any inventory and only order parts when they have a solid customer order for them. That would explain their lower prices and consistently slow delivery. I wouldn't have a problem with that if they would just be up-front about it; I certainly would not have paid for overnight delivery had I known that.
 
It's looking like their customer service is taking care of business in the WRONG way.

I have used them for several items, new frunk lid, hinge, rubber stops, screws, pins, and so on. Took about 2 weeks to get. Ordered some smaller things and they came in wrong. Called and left a message on a machine and revived a call back within 2 hours.

If I can wait I order through them because of great prices. If I need it quick I go to the dealer.
 
As a new Spyder owner who will being buying a lot of stuff in the near future i appreciate the feedback. Totally unacceptable but totally understandable in this day and age of business. I don't mind paying more for the pesky communication thing and getting parts on time with real vendors who actually care about earning my business and keeping it. I am planning trips and upgrades based on when i receive items, test and move onto the next thing. Can't do that or won't spend my $$ with you if you don't let me know what is going on.
 
The initial E-Mail confirmation (Jul 5th) Did say expected delivery 17-18 Jul BUT I will never buy from them again!nojoke

Stop complaining about money/price you bought a $20,000.00 + or - toy I think people can SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESS!!!

Save a little now, but when local dealerships close up Can-Am sells less Spyders when they sell less Spyders they pull the plug on building them. WAY to many people live in the now moment and only care about themselves not seeing the big picture. Where are you going to get your Spyder fixed send it to Amazon via drone pickup with a idiot with a wrench fix it that knows nothing.

Dealerships have a lot of overhead they can't give parts/wholegoods/service away they need PROFIT to pay for everything! A dealership can't stay open on the little 5-10% profit margins that internet outfits run on!!!

I know the argument I'm not rich if I can save money I'm buying online. Well I'm far from rich, and try my best to go support my dealer because I'm glad he's 10 Min. up the road!!!

I love just to be able to go there and actually talk to someone if I have a problem. I also like to sit on new machines, and dream when its raining outside with not much else to do (drives the wife nuts by the way). Sometimes if I have a question when ordering a part they will pull the technician off a job in the back to talk to me! Thats what I call customer service.

Thats why I shop at my dealership. I NEED THEM TO STAY OPEN for the BIG picture!

I always give my dealer first chance. If they don't have the item, or its way more as in 50%--then I shop around. The last purchase I made, I bought all the accessories through them and they covered the installation on their dime. I did add a LED license plate frame which they said was not available to them. I purchased that from a vendor and they installed for one hours labor--which I also though was fair. A lot of wiring with that one. :thumbup:
 
One thing I noticed was the dealers permitted to advertise on this forum are top notch. I have zero negative feedback of my farkle money spent here.
