Great work from one that knows how much work is involved in a project like this.... Thumbs up to you!
Thanks---- but please give due credit to Ken Tompkins too. With his list being closer to done than mine - this was able to come out much sooner!
Hope I got everyone that gave me their email address----
Please let me know if it's loading and working okay - especially on units other than the 550.
Hope it loads and works well for everyone-- please let me know!
I chose a different method for loading it into the Garmin than what Ken posted on Spyder Talk. He is supplying the GPX file - which requires using the Garmin POI Loader (free download from Garmin).
If anyone needs or wants the GPX file - I can send that also. I just thought copying the file right to the GarminPOI folder was easier.
The GPX file and the GPI files have the exact same data--- just to avoid any confusion.
I'm looking into converting this also for other brands...
What would be the other top brands? Tom Tom, Lowrence, ????
Thanks for the GPX file Ken
