• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

It was reported on both the V8 board and the Rune board that Bruce Rossmeyer, the owner of Destination Daytona, and the old Harley dealerships in Daytona and New Smyrna Beach, was killed this afternoon in a Motorcycle accident. He was on a trip which was to end in Sturgis. He was killed by a RV in Montana. Prayers go out to his family.

Wow, that is terrible news. My prayers to his family and friends, he made a very special mark in the motorcycle industry and will be missed. :(

Sad to say, the details in the news story indicate that he would still be here for family and friends if he had not made one or more bad choices. Doubly sad when it was avoidable. I lost a brother-in-law that exact same way many years ago (passing a stopped, left-turning vehicle traveling in the same direction) except the driver in my brother-in-laws accident DIDN'T have his turn signal on, and Kim WAS wearing a helmet.

Our prayers for his family and close friends.

WOW what a heck of a nice guy. I dont think their are to many people in the biking world who has not heard of him. R.I.P.:pray:

RIP Mr R you certainly did have a rep for supporting charities - a very good thing.

Your South Florida dealers were/are a bear to deal with.

None the less...

Pete

...and you should have been wearing a helmet if the news report is accurate, but still RIP.
