• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Okay... I DO Like The Looks Of It!

hmm... thinking Spydey and the Bandito. It's okay, would have rather had another inch of ground clearance,
or something beside paint , to make me reach for the wallet.

If the black was like on our Ford Escape and they had really good chrome in place of the gold paint it would be a REAL winner. The metal flake black on our Escape really glitters in the sunlight........when it's clean.

:D

I've been wrestling with the styling cues of the 2018 RT...

I've decided that even thought I'm not a fan of Black Bikes: the Gold trim-work does make it look kind of neat!

What do you think of it? :dontknow:
I am not a fan of "dark/or black bikes because they are difficult to keep clean, but I do like the "Gold" on the bike. Now only if BRP painted the dashboard "GOLD". Or add some GOLD above the head lights( below the windshield )

Which would add some color to the dashboard. I am kind a partial to the painted dashboards. See my posts, and threads you know what I mean. Deanna

Okay...

As I said...John Player Special looks was always nice but I would not own it...mine is black but silver accents... with red and white pinstripping...

Special

Just to clear this up:
the Special anniversary models are 2017 model year/design/configuration. A mid year release, a bit late. Like the 1964 1/2 Ford Mustang, a special release. Not an 2018 model. I know, as I asked at the unveiling. We heard rumors that the 2018 are different, so when they rolled these out with paint and wheels and medallions, we were "hang on, nothing special!"
That said, screams Smokey and the bandit, to me. Those wheels, powder coated another color would work fine!! Spyder Ann wants them Powdercoated in the color of brake dust..........

Bob, I like the color scheme - understated, classy and just enough sass with the wheels to make a statement. But frankly, I think the dark side is calling you and you're ready to go over. Your latest avatar confirms that! :yikes:(I did like that flying pig though)

But if all else fails....MORE COWBELL!!! download (1).jpg

Black doesn't perk up my ears, although the gold is a great touch. Gimme a rich teal, turquoise or purple (or bring back the cognac!) and I'll definitely look twice. I'm too pragmatic to trade just for color, though.

The spyder looks good, black is not my favorite color especially for FL. Don't need to absorb any more heat. It's hot enough here all ready, besides, I just bought my '16 last June. Dale

I am still wondering about price...any ideas? :dontknow::dontknow:

I did buy a new motorcycle. But it was not one of the above.

:D That would be EXACTLY what I'm hoping for the most! :2thumbs:

you can put lipstick on anything - but ?

You can put lipstick on anything - but it is still what it was before you applied the lipstick.

If BRP Can Am has included definitive mechanical/electrical/electronic improvements to the new model, then and only then will it warrant my consideration.
If NOT
Well then it's just lipstick on an ol girl to make her feel better about herself.

Okay... :D I'll bite!

What improvements would the owner of an F3-T like to see be made to the RT model? :dontknow:

Okay, I will bite. Re style--the looks now are getting "old in the tooth." A bigger engine--1700 - 1800 range. A "real" touring seat for both driver and passenger.

Anyone else? :popcorn::popcorn:

:D Since you asked...
Stretch the rider/passenger area about an inch or two, and give us more room! :gaah:
Make the saddlebags and top trunk more spacious, and make the space more useful, by "squaring it up" a bit!
Give us shaft drive: a longer wheelbase will mean a longer belt... :yikes:
And since the wheelbase is longer: you have room for a larger fuel tank!
How about a radio system that is easier to figure out?
Less reflectors, and more lighting! nojoke
reinforce that center strut for the windshields
Get your mirror mounting system from Russ!
Since all of this will add weight: bump the displacement and power a bit too!
