• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Over 600 miles a day, that's some hard ryding

yep but the beginning & end of the trip they ride pretty hard to be able to spend more time out west at the stops they want to do. last years ride was 14 days #7,108 miles.

With more time to plan my attendance I would have gone but with only ten days notice? Sorry, already planned many excursions.

Sounds like a nice ride planned. They are going to all my favorite Western destinations. Enjoy and drive safe.:yes:

In looking at your map I can't tell if they are coming down I-15 or US 89 to get to Grand Canyon

How many bikes are going? How many Spyders are planning on going? I would like to go, but don't think I can enjoy 600 miles per/day!

normally 3-4 bikes end up going, they always have 8-10 say they will but don't show up when its time to head out. hubby will be the only spyder normally. & 600 a day is the average but the 1st day will prob do a lot more than that to get a jump on the miles,,,,, after that the way they do it is 75-100 miles (time for a butt break) 75-100 more miles time for fuel. 75-100 time for a butt break & so on all day. that way they are not overly sore. they have been doing it like that since the 2nd cross country ride, this will be the 6th.
