Safe to drive?

I have a check engine light with the codes P0171 & P0174 - System too lean Bank 1 2, Injection & fuel supply system. I have an appointment on Tuesday to have this checked out. I just need to find out if it is safe to drive to the dealership - a little over an hour away - or should I have my Spyder towed? Thanks!!

:shocked: I'm pretty cautious about stuff like this. If you have a way to get it there on a trailer: I'd take that course of action. nojoke
But that's just me!
Is the bike going into Limp Mode? :dontknow:
If not: you could just ride it there... with your fingers crossed!

No one can tell you for sure whether it's a wise move or not. (my opinion)

That said, and with the same codes being displayed, on four or five occasions over the past 18 months. I have ridden mine to a dealer that's two hours away, each time.

Agree...

It is your call. Try running some seafoam in a tank full and watching the temp. Many times the computer reset will clear or store the codes but if there is no limp mode and the temp is normal it is rydable. Personally everyone may be different. Now just curious when folks say they are hour/s away should they ryde..? how are they getting back or is this a super shop that will fix it right then. If someone is coming to get you then you have back up when ryding over there...:dontknow:
