• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Broke my right side footrest bracket.

I was an idiot :banghead: and put a tad to much side pressure and my bracket, when moving my seal floorboard to the side to get my tupperware installed, after I put on the heat management system.

I'm looking to see if anyone has a good source for a footrest bracket? I am looking used if possible. If anyone has a GS or RS parts bike, or a good motorcycle junk yard near them I could use the help. Thanks

Even though it is cast? It will need to hold some weight, It is a main mounting point for the Seal floorBoards. Will it still hold?

most welds are stronger than the parent metal... find yourself a guy/gal that knows the requirements of welding aluminum... it needs to be heated prior to welding, alum tends to disperse heat faster than other metals, so adding heat prior to welding is a necessity... most GOOD body shops will have the proper equipment and personnel... check around... and good luck....

Thank you for looking around, I do appreciate the help. It is funny though, you found the best price I have seen at $77.24. I found a site that sells it for $92.68, the best price before you. Then I look deeper, your site charges $23.94 to ship and my site only $8.50, with the total for both sites the same price of $101.18. Good deals never seem to be as good as we think  . On the other hand if I can find something else to buy, they both have free shipping on orders over $99. I will be looking on your site as it gives me $21.76 to play with. Then I will be getting the part I need and something I can use for the same price as if I had paid the high shipping cost.

Again thanks to everyone for looking and giving me some ideas.
