• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I'm so happy for Dale & Peggy

Jerbear,

I mentioned Dale and Peggy yesterday, and only 1 reply. I was thinking not too many have received the latest and greatest news from BRP yet.

I saw your post but had not received the email. Based on your comment in yesterdays post, I was reasonably sure what was up.

Gotta love the creativity of a wordsmith. That's all I'm going to say.

Well

I have to admit that our experience is very similar to the experiences of Dale and Peggy. We have a great dealer, Elk Grove Power Sports (number 1 Spyder dealer in the West), they understand how to set the Spyder up, and how to take care of it after it's built. We are currently at about 50000 miles combined with ZERO issues. Sorry about YOUR pain, but you may be the exception, rather than the RULE! ;)

I saw the ad but deleted it before reading. So...I have no idea about Dale and Peggy. Is this another Marketing blooper?

Agree...

:agree: not in the market don't read the ads....but I like the words in your post...

:D Me & the Missus could be "Dale & Peggy".
We enjoy every ryde; even the ones that don't go quite as planned.

But by mocking their ad copy; don't you feel as if this is becoming a bit too much?
This place is called "SpyderLovers" for a very good reason. nojoke
Although I'm very sorry to hear of your ongoing problems. :banghead:

HMMMMM...... So far my wife and I have been from MI to Nova Scotia and back towing our Bunkhouse camper, first two week trip on Spyder, MI to Utah and back towing our Bunkhouse camper, second two week trip on spyder, and now over 18,000 miles trouble free in the first two riding seasons owned.
Were both trips trouble free? No, the first trip a man with a fifth wheel backed into a Spyder with only a few miles on it and damaged the frunk. Then the roads were so bad it broke a bolt off in a trailer hitch and I had to pull the hitch of fin the KOA to replace the bolt.
Next trip the foam grips I installed started to decompose turning my hand black, so I pulled into a dealer and replaced them. Then the seat wouldn't stay up when fueling so I had to get a stronger gas strut, now all is okay. Then the LED lights I have in the camper quit working and I had to find the short and repair it.

But I must say I had to really stop and think about what went wrong because I have too many great memories from those trips plugging up my brain.

First two weeks of July we are off from MI to Glacier Ntl park and points around, another 5,000 + mile trip planned, and I have no doubts about the Spyder, or second thought that I am going to make it, just as I had no thoughts about the Yamaha Venture Royals I still own, when we were on trips.

I love my Spyder!!!

Between love and madness lies our passion.

I'm happy for you too.

Your Spyder seems to be performing the way they ALL should.
