Springfield, Mo - is it a go?

After a month in the shop I'll be picking the spyder up tonight. And I really want to go to Springfield.

My confidence level isn't high but my will to go - is.

If it makes it home tonight(without incident)...100 miles in total.

I may well do it.

Hope it's not to late......it's kinda late to be making reservations and all. :dontknow:

3930 South Overland, Springfield, MO, 65807, US said they had a couple of rooms when I talked with them yesterday:thumbup: & I've used this one for my last two fest good location not too close or too far off has good food in walking distance & the staff is great the one down side is no elevator, very minor unless that's what you need:dontknow:

I just cancelled my reservation at the Best Western if someone wants to try to get them. Wish I could go but sick dog is holding me back this year. :-(. Have fun for me.

Jer, I am so happy you are considering going, we rode back together I don't know 5 years ago, and had a blast{, sort of}. I ran out of gas, and we had that overturned big rig blocking the lanes in scorching heat. If it's ok I am gonna ask the misses if I could take off 10 days, are you leaving on Sunday? Maybe I could join you on the ride out? I too would have no reservations, oh well. Lol

Leaving here Sunday? Yes.

Will leave here Sunday(23rd) with stay over in Winslow, Az.(now booked for two - with 2 queen beds)
and Monday night May 1, return trip(queen beds).

Monday night(24th) going stay over in Amarillo, Tx.(now booked for two - with two queen beds)
and Tuesday night May 2nd, return trip(queen beds).

I'm not certain what I have as far as beds in Springfield @ Best Western Route 66 Rail Haven, for Tuesday the 25th thru Sunday the 30th check out (think it's a king bed tho) If you can make it I'll check on that and if you want, you're welcome to stay with me. You may need a sleeping bag tho....lol

Oh too, I'm not taking my trailer.

Per the clerk I spoke with. They're overbooked for the entire week. Sounds just like an airline we've heard a lot about lately. :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

rooms. doesnt get you luxury treament, but a good nights sleep. reviews
