• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

 Well I did it!! 100,000 miles on my 2014 RTS-SM6 in 3 years 5 weeks. ....
Kudos and Congratulations, I'll be happy if I can do that in 10 years.... but we do have a lot longer colder winter up in MN...

SpyderAnn, I know you've posted in many other threads about items, mods, etc that you've experienced, but have you come up with a list of "What I've learned in the last 100000 miles" kinda thing?

Farkles
Tires
Detailing
Packing
or whatever the things were that you felt warranted extra attention

Mine is same year and model and you are about 80,000 ahead of me, what's your secret against Dead Butt Syndrome? Sure hope Joe is doing better will be a major pain to ride that adventure bike for a bit.

Congrats Ann, BRP should take note and they should award you a brand new spyder because you are the most positive ambasador of the spyder. Good luck and I hope they will take note. God Bless and take care.

Congratulations. ...🎉🎊🎖

Sooo !! Now your off to Disneyland..?? :roflblack: or on to the next alignment reunion...

Fantastic, Congratulations.......that's a great accomplishment.....:clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:,
SERENITY has 80,000 to go....:spyder:

Proud!

I'm thrilled she did it. We were on I10 in Mississippi when I asked; she had 5 miles to go. She got a picture at 99,999, as well.
I think BRP should swap her for a new one, and inspect hers. The bike has been amazing. A couple of small things ( a leak in a radiator clamp, a slave cylinder O ring, an output shaft seal. Nothing horrible. Did a brake job unexpectedly, had a muffler come loose, she broke an adjustable air deflector, burned out a headlight bulb. Little stuff. We use AMSOIL, exactly on schedule, switched to a K&N air filter, run thru lots of tires, brake pads, consumables. Manual shift, still has original clutch!
Make no mistake, this bike is not babied! She rides it. We travel, thru rain, snow, wind, dust, hail, 🐜!
First, make it fit. Seat, bars, grips, pegs. Then, the right gear: helmets, gloves, jackets, pants, boots. We have different of each - mesh, textile, etc. being comfortable is huge!
We add lights, LEDs, headlights, and on and on. See and be seen!

There was traffic so I had to slow down.
I can see it now! A half mile long string of cars backed up behind Ann as she drives slowly so as not to miss catching the odo rolling over the 100,000 mile mark! That's why the traffic was slow!

You never know. BRP just might take you up on your offer. The PR would be worth it, I think! Congratulations! I hope I get there some day! Less than 86,000 to go!

Oops! That sunk your chances right there! Can you imagine BRP bragging, "Look how well our Spyder lasts when you use Amsoil in it!" :gaah:
