• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Federal Formoza 165-55-15

....They spell tire as Tyre on the website .....

That doesn't really mean a heap, since more than half the english speaking world spells what you call a tire as tyre!! :dontknow:

But the lack of any contact info or business location... now that seems a bit odd/dubious?!? :lecturef_smilie:

Hope it goes well for you. It looks like they are a big online distributor with no direct customer interface at their address. Here's a quote from their web page.

Important policy note:
Please note it is Wheel and Tire Superstores policy to require signature at time of delivery on all packages with no exceptions. Pick ups from shipping hubs are not permitted. Also address changes are not permitted and packages will only be delivered to the billing address on the card. Customers that choose PayPal payments are permitted to send to alternative addresses as long as the address is confirmed by PayPal. Customers that choose instant credit options as payments can only ship to the address they provided in their applications.

Please note due to the complexity and the variety of the products we carry and also due to the fast moving inventory we do not have a live inventory online, all online orders will be Pre-Authroized and pending capture. We will only capture the charge when the product becomes available to ship and in case the product is out of stock from the manufacture our sales team will try to order the product from multiple different resources and if the product is not available then the order will be voided.

In short they get your order, put a hold on your credit card, find the tire either from their inventory or elsewhere, charge your card, and then ship. Just because they have it listed on their website is no guarantee they can deliver.

Onlinetires.com is at the same address but I can't determine if they're the same company. I ordered a Michelin for the rear on my 2013 RT back in Aug 2014. All went well with that order.

There's no question we can save buying online but it pays to be cautious. The Facebook page for Wheel and Tire Superstores has a few horror stories but they are rated 4.4 out of 5 overall.

Thanks for additional information, I will be looking into this a little closer, maybe giving them a call.

It did seem most unusual that a US company would ship tires to Canada for free with you just buying 2 low priced tires.

I bought my back tire from discounttiresdirect.com and received free shipping from them...

I tried to get some Federal Evo's from online tire and they had to refund the $$ as they didn't really have them....:gaah:

Found a set of them elsewhere that actually shipped and showed up.

You really have to plan ahead with the 165/55/15 size as they're kinda rare....
