• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Spring time TIP - All purpose protectant -

Jeriatric

Thinks out loud
Some of you likely use this product.

If you don't, and you're into extending the life of your bikes paint, plastic parts, vinyl and leather, you should. (imo)

Works well on chrome surfaces too.

Prevents static cling of dust, and keeps road grime from locking onto what it has been applied to.

Anyway, been using it for years and simply wanted share.

This stuff ain't snake oil.

Amazon.com: 303 (30313-CSR) UV Protectant Spray for Vinyl, Plastic, Rubber, Fiberglass, Leather & More – Dust and Dirt Repellant - Non-Toxic, Matte Finish, 32 Fl. oz.: Automotive

Never used it on chrome or paint but its great stuff.

My personal experience is a truck bed cover. Had a roll n lock cover installed on my 2002 F-250 when I bought it in Sept 2001. The top surface that faces the sun is black vinyl. Was told by Roll n lock to use the 303 Protectant. Figured what the heck and bought a bottle.

It dawned on me about 5 years ago that that vinyl cover still looked like new. I started using the 303 on other black plastics and vinyl and tires. Now buy it by the gallon and refill the spray bottles.

At 17 yrs old that vinyl bed cover still looks great. Black and soft. Not a single crack. I only wipe it down with the protectant about twice a year and the truck has spent significant portions of its life outside in the texas sun.

While a little goes a long way

me uses it on so many thing we get it by the gallon too.

You have my word it works wonders on protecting the Spyders Tupperware.

On chrome it provides a protective coating that helps keep stuff from clinging to it.

I guess one could say, what can't it be used on.

So do you use this after a good cleaning and/or polishing?
Lately I've been using Plexus.. really like the stuff.

After a good cleaning and once a year should do it. That's all I've been doing to the RT and it looks as good today as it did six years ago.

Spray it on a micro fiber cloth, apply to a given panel, wipe and shine with another micro fiber cloth and move to the next area. A little goes a long way, so if to much is applied and it streaks, just soak another micro fiber in water, wring it out well, and wipe over the streaks. (as per instructions of the MFG).

Would this product compare to that expensive Top Coat product going around the internet.

Am I safe to assume that it isn't slippery like silicone? If it isn't I guess I could even use it on the trykes seat. I put it in my Amazon list. Thanks.

used to sell truck lids that recommended 303. bought it by the case. people really liked it for tires too.

I've got a bottle here I used to use, completely forgot about it and never thought to actually use it on the paint, always just did the dash. I'll have to go see if it has a shelf life as I'm sure mine is around 5 years old by now. Thanks for the reminder.

Agree. This is a product that actually does what it says it will. We've been using it on our kayaks for years and they look as if we just bought them. Great UV protection is perhaps the most important feature in the long run. As JerBear has said, this is not snake oil.

That's awesome! Thanks!!:2thumbs::2thumbs::2thumbs:

My Goldwing buddy told me about 303 way back in 2006 before I retired. Super stuff. Never did find it on the shelf to replace it when the bottle ran out. I think I've still got the empty spray bottle hoping to find a replacement.

Thanks for the reminder! Just ordered a gallon, $45, from Amazon. Free shipping over $35 right now.
