• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Looking for something to do mid-August

That's just 3-4 hours from me. I might have to add that to my rally schedule for August. Thanks for the heads up!

Do I have to pre-register? If so, what's the cut-off date? If possible, I might register at the event.

 When you said that you were looking for something to do in Mid-August: I thought that you might have wanted to come mow my lawn... :D

You can register from the website and also book your hotel room ($79.99/night)......if you want a T-shirt you have to register by July15th.
You can register at the rally. Friday night (Aug 18th) is a Meet and Greet, with a hot meal, live music and a night time "glow" ride through downtown Omaha, NE. Or if you send me your email, I can send out a registration form with event schedule.
Whatever works. We have a great time. This year our Sunday ride is to a special place that honors our fallen heroes in a very special way. Hope to see you at the rally. If you PM me, I can give you my email and get you set up to receive materials on the rally.
We have about 15 members of our NISR club going down to Spyderfest....maybe we'll run into each other.
Thanks

i called Olsens outdoor power and was informed they are not part of the event this year? What's up with that?

This year NISR is running the rally ourselves out of Council Bluffs. We do have a local Can Am Sponsor, Edwards Motorsports, which is only 2 miles from our rally location.

Why would NISR want to change dealers? Olsen's was a main reason some of us out of Towner attended.
