• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Purchased a new pistol today.

I carry either an Kimber Ultra Crimson Carry II in a Blackhawk IWB or a Glock 19 in an Alien Gear holster... depending on what I am wearing that day...

Impossible to carry concealed. Big and heavy!
I like my FN 5.7. Light, high capacity, shoots great. SOB, you never know I'm carrying. Fires a rifle Bullet.
Another favorite is my Bond Arms Texas Defender. Pocket shotgun. Nothing to conceal - right in the pocket!

Nice.

I want a 5.7 bad, but the cost is keeping me from pulling the trigger. Lol

Looks too big for a CCW. But I imagine SOB would be the best choice.

I've looked at that round: meh... :dontknow:
I've already got a K-Hornet in a 12" Contender barrel, and it's the most accurate CF round that I've ever shot...
For personal defense; something like it wouldn't be my first choice. nojoke
Low velocity, and large diameter bullets: That's what ends fights at close-range.

But I am old, and don't change my mind easily! :D

They make the XDs in a .45 model also. I just purchased the 9mm last friday and love it, but that .45 sure was a sweet shooting gun also.

I agree.. but I'd like the 5.7 as a short to medium range hunting pistol, as well as a side arm.

Liked my contender, but it is strictly a hunting weapon. Had one in 30-30 and 7x30 waters. Definitely more accurate than I am.

Just bought 2 new handguns, I sold a Sig P238 to get a Glock G43 cause I was afraid in a panic I'd forget to find the safety. The Glock is a single stack 9mm, I carry it in a waist band holster, which is the most comfortable way to carry for me. The other was a 625 S&W 45 acp revolver, because I want to get back into bowling pin shooting. Gun sales have really dropped off with the new administration, so I'm doing my part to help out.View attachment 144841View attachment 144842
Um looking at the P938 for my next pistol. Love the size and 1911 style. Real easy to keep it in the pocket. $$$ is what keeps me from having one already.

The FN 5.7 is on my list. But I want to get the Dillon 650XL reloader before I go to the 5.7, that rounds gets expensive to shoot. But then again, could just carry a AR pistol.

I have the xds 9 in 3.3 and love it, carry it everywhere at 4-5 with either kydex or iwb depending on clothing, conceals very easily with a hoodie

Stop!

Stop it.
I don't need another gun. (The crackhead has left the neighborhood.)
You are making me gun thirsty!(?) If there is such a thing.
That revolver is absolutely cute!

A friend of mine said it best...

... when he said that after he dies his worst fear is that his wife will sell his guns for what he told her he paid for them!!

Fires from the bottom of the cylinder instead of from the top. Virtually no muzzle flip. 357 Mag.

I don't own a gun; but, that is one nice looking firearm.

Bob D., If you read this, it's not quite as nice as some butt shots I have posted.

In the last 4 days, I loaded 150 rounds of .30WCF, 100 rounds of .243 Winchester, and 85 rounds of .44 Remington magnum. On to 100 rounds of .40S&W, 100 rounds of .380, and 25 rounds of .357 magnum. Then on to cast a bunch of .44 and .50 lead balls.

I can foresee a lot of fun in the coming weeks.

What's your load for the .44 Mag.?
(I always shot Hornady 240 gr hollow points, that had 24.2 gr of Win. 296. R-P cases, and a CCI 350 primer...)
