I remember Dubliner saying a while back that the Spyders in peoples photos on this forum always looked spotless, so just to prove that's not always the case...
This is what my Spyder looked like after doing 3556 km (2209 miles) in a weekend. As you can probably tell, some dirt roads were included in the route

The route had some pretty bad sections, including a dried up river bed to one checkpoint. It didn't get through completely unharmed, having lost a bar end and cracked the bottom mounts of both pannier frames, but I'm amazed that's all considering what was asked of it. It did me proud.
