I have had several LEOs question me about the LED flags. Usually wanting to know where to get one for their harley.....
Never once a problem with it. They work great on the rear fender of the F3-T or L as well.
Cindy,
Once I'm able to get the lights for the backs of my saddlebags: the Flag is next!
I had a couple Spyder owners told us the same stores, they got pulled over by cop and asked them where to buy or wanted to see it from up close.
We sold several led flags to a retired cop, that's also a bike rider, for him and his retired-cop friends.
We now carry the smaller size led flag of 3x5 inches, and the regular size is 4x6.
Still the same Stars and Stripes.

Cindy...
first of all. Thanks for your comment... does the flag just hook into the light wire for the license plate? Do u have to splice or is it plug and play?

I was pulled over by the California Hwy Patrol and was told by the Officer (who was a A**HOLE) that if he ever saw me again with the flag lite up even if I was escorting a Veteran to the National Cemetery in Dixon, CA he would pull me over and put me in front of the court and explain why I was running a blue light to the rear on the spyder. I love my Country and I love my Flag, but he is right about a blue light to the rear in CA.

The flag looks great and I get a lot of complements about it from both riders and cages. I really doubt if any police officer worth his salt will give you a tough time about it.
I think they look great. I Carry them, ready to mount on my Universal Hitch Mount. I did take mine off after a buddy ,who has one of mine, got stopped twice and ticketed once in the Portland, Or. area. In Oregon it is illegal to have ANY blue lights on the back of a vehicle. My friend has served our Country two times in Vietnam Vet. and is furious. He refuses to remove it. Yes, there are police out there who seem to have no concept of what that Red, White and BLUE represents to us who have served our Country with pride and honor.
