• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

If you like sitting on your porch drinking moonshine and listening to toe tapping, knee slapping, hand clapping good old fashioned music, here you are, enjoy.

"I Am A Man Of Constant Sorry" by the fictitious group "Soggy Bottom Boys".

That clip is from the movie that got the Bluegrass genre started again. Lots of great music in that one.

A classically trained musician was once asked how he defined "Perfect Pitch"...
"That's easy!", he exclaimed.
"It's when you throw a set of bagpipes into the Town Dump, and it lands on a fiddle!" :roflblack:
Or in this case: a fiddle and a banjo! :joke:

It's actually Union Station singing that.

Thanks for that....👏

Always up for a musical interlude...the more toe tapping hand clapping the better...👏👏

Classically trained musician, my a**! Elitist, for sure!

I've always wondered: Is there a true difference between a fiddle and a violin or is it how they're played?

Yes actually fyi a fiddle is smaller, much like a violin is smaller than a cello or a mandolin to a guitar. The size can attribute to how they are played & tones produced.
