• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Well I got my first ride in for 2017 about 60 miles. Nothing like a New Year day ride in Michigan.

Enjoy the Ride

Good to hear for Michigan. The little woman and I rode today too. Central Texas was a balmy 70 degrees.

KUDOs to you ! A hardier and braver man than I . Thanks for flying the Spyder colors
in the frosty Midwest .

Funny, yesterday I want on a ride that was called "the last ride of 2016". The temps ranged from the mid 50's to the mid 70's and sunny. :ani29::ohyea::ani29:

My last ryde for 2016 (yesterday) was 73 myles, with a stop at a biker bar 25 miles south of home.

For the first ryde of 2017 (today) it was a nice 122 myles with missourigirl along for a seafood lunch at a fishing village on the Gulf coast.

No smilies on this post... I'm not here to rub it in.
YEEOUCH!!!! MY PANTS ARE ON FIRE................................................ :yikes:

Good to Hear.....

Congrats on not giving up..:2thumbs: Lots of rain here (it does rain in southern California ) so too much flooding where we ryde:banghead:. Was high 57° still comfortable but will be back out the later this week...:ohyea:

:congrats: for those that are able to ride. I am looking at about 88 days or so until end of March. It will be 88 days from now, give or take a couple weeks.

You sound like my grandkids...only 88 more sleeps! If you are like me and take a nap, that's 176 more sleeps!! Yikes.

 We're salted-in, and the temperatures are in the twenties... :gaah:
So keep on riding, and we'll live vicariously through your experiences!

That seems like an eternity . This is my first Spyder winter and I don't like it at all.

I have taken a ride so far as cold 18 degrees with wind chill to 9 degrees .
I had Spyderpops hook my Rt for 12 volt heated gear. I did not feel the cold except on my face.
I got first gear suff from Ron.

It was a bit tough as the temp was only in the low 80's but rode my RT to church on New Years morning. Love Central Florida weather.
Never have to shovel sunshine.

New Year's Day temp was in the upper 70s here in San Antonio. Rode to a local park, then hiked trails for six miles, and rode home.
