• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

It looks like the current deals for the 2016's ends on 1/7/17 from Can Am. Based on the experience of the people here do the deals typically get better, worse or stay the same. I don't want to pull the trigger and a better deal comes along.

2016 deals

Seems like they don't usually deteriorate, normally will offer something through March, the sweetness depends on how much left over stock they have. Will want to check with the north Texas and I spyder dealership in Illinois; they seem to have the lowest available prices and the one in Illinois ships "free" to anywhere in the lower 48.

Sorry can't remember the correct names for these two dealers, others will jump in and supply the correct names. The Illinois dealer is a site sponsor however.

Gotta say...

Have never noticed any patterns :dontknow: depends on the market, weather, stocks, dealers..etc...shop around the best deal your gonna get is the one you settle on...

Has anyone here used these ship to your door dealers? I called the Imotorsports and it was way better price than one dealer and about parr with another!

The north Texas dealer referenced above is Louis PowerSports, Greenville Texas. I purchased my Spyder from them in 2014. The entire process was negotiated and oordinated by telephone and FedEx. They also helped me set up the the shipping arrangements of my Spyder The courier used was G-Men Transport Services and he did deliver to my driveway. My sales rep was Dave

i called I Motorsports in Illinois and if I picked up my own Spyder it was cheaper. So I don't think "free" is free. I still believe that "there is no such a thing as a free lunch. I bought mine at Ollie's in Alexandria, Minnesota. They had the best deal. They dealt straight up and has no "smoking mirrors"

How much could you actually save by waiting? The risk you run is the specific bike you want might be gone by the time you get the great deal. I was in this same position and decided to buy last September on a 2016 still in the crate. I was able to ride about 2500 miles before the weather changed, I am sure I could have got a another $1000 or so by waiting , not that big of a deal in the larger picture.

When you decide to buy (upgrade), just do it! And once you buy, never look back. You could always be waiting to save that last hundred dollars and life will pass you by. Remember, it's only money.

Just do it!

I bought my 2015 RT-S April 2016. New left over for 22,990. That was 5,300 off retail. Still had tax and fees to pay on top of that.

I purchased my 2016 F3S from Imotorsports in October. Knew what I wanted and negotiated everything over the phone. They gave me a great price on my trade in and purchased the new F3 for what I thought was a very fair price. They came to my house and picked up my trade in and dropped off the new F3. Easy and painless.

My 2016 RT-s Special Series, purchased early December 2016.

List $29,399, paid $23,883 plus $300 dealer setup/freight and tax/license. They kept the rebate of $2500.

Got mine at Bert's in Los Angeles area. They price matched another dealer on the same bike. Make sure they don't try to soak you on the setup, as one LA Dealer near LAX tried to tell me that they would match the price, but setup and freight was $2300 and I only paid $300.

I highly recommend Bert's for any of the LA people as they were totally honest and they followed up several times to make sure I was happy and didn't hard sell me on options.

The dealer is pricing it at $22983 plus he wants $600 for shipping and $250 for dealer costs and tax. I think that is out of line so I am shopping around now. He told me the rebate on the RT-S SS is $2000. Is there a way to verify the rebates from BRP? I appreciate the feedback.

I bought mine from IMotorsports, and I had a great experience. I would say shipping is "included," not free. I ended up picking mine up at the dealer since I live in the Chicago area.
