• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

hello every one , was one of those days ya know ! the central heat , in the house was flipping the breaker , 2 nd time in 2 days , so I came home from work , packed the 2nd source of heat up with fuel , and took a look at the 1st problem ... the central heat , the breaker , too the house unit ran it for about 15 minutes , sure enough flipped the breaker again , { :banghead: } sooo look at the cheapest fix first ! took off the electrical panel cover , flipped the heat breaker all the way off , and sure enough , the , black hot line was a bit loose { :pray: } there are two lines , a black hot , and a white neutral , then the copper wires that are ground , but tightened the screws on the breaker , and flipped that switch , got a drink and waited , whooooo hoooo still going :yes: so while I was puttsing around waiting , rolled the :ani29: out noticed the battery light was flashing red , { meaning lets go for a ride :D } so after I put every thing back together , that dealt with the central heat , off me and the lil lady went { ohhhh , the misses is feeling a bit sick , } but me and the :ani29: went for a quick spin , hahhhahaa ya know , I saw soo many strange looks , it was 40 degrees folks looked at me like I lost my :yikes: mind hahahahahaa really wasn`t that bad for a bout a 2 mile quickie ! this weekend , going too be in the 60`s so I do hope the Christmas day will be merry and warm , just too get the kids out on their toys ,and we folks on our spyders ! { a foot note : if you are not comfortable , around 220 volts of electric , do not do what I just did ... call an electrician , and ride your spyder while he is on his way ;) }

COLD RIDE

Several Saturday's ago I rode for an hour in 20 degree weather. I had not ridden in almost two weeks and was getting cabin fever. I put on long underwear, my heavy Kevlar jeans, several shirts, my heavy jacket, and heated glove liners under my winter gloves. It was a great ride in the sunshine and I didn't get cold. But I did have to have hot chocolate when I got home. It seems like I am not cold while riding, but it catches up with me when I stop.😊😊

Glad that the heat has been fixed.

Any ride is a good one IMO. I am okay down to about 10 above--but that is where I draw the line these days. When riding becomes an "effort" and no longer "fun," I keep it parked. :yes::yes:

Dec.11 2013 my Mother pass away. I gave the Limo to her caretakers, I rode the funeral procession in Honor for my Mom on my Spyder in 12* weather. I was warmer than those in their cars.

I'm beginning to get soft in my dotage.... I'm thinking twice before ryding whenever it gets as hot as 40 Deg C!! Once things get that warm, the Air con on the Spyder just doesn't seem to cool anywhere near as well as it used to! :shocked:

Way to go.....

Got the house heat fixed then ryde off into the cold...:roflblack: good thing was getting home to a warm house...:yes:
