• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

At this time we do not have anything available but keep a eye on our site we are looking into it.

Thank you.

Yea! They must have gotten more than a few emails from you folks when I requested a couple of months ago.

As I stated in the other thread, these are good shocks and have used them on some of my other bikes. A set of Progressives, given past pricing, should be considerably less than the Elkas ($1500-2200) or the other even more expensive option that evoluzione.net ($3000?) offers.

They also would probably provide a proportional enhancement... not as good as the Elkas but considerably better than stock.

Thanks for following up!

I did not mention SpyderLovers or reference you I thought it would be better to just ask and add another one. I feel as you do with the handling already improved with the sway bar I just want quality shocks and bushings to improve the ride a little and dependably a lot. Chrome would be nice also. :ohyea:

As much as I dislike chrome on my Spyder, I agree with you. I cannot keep the front shocks clean of bug guts and rock chips... and they now look old. Short of repainting them, there's no real solution with the OEM shocks... for me... for now.

Since the shocks are tucked away it would not be like a Dyna-Glide where they would stand out. You would just get the "hint" of chrome and they are much easer to clean and shine as you say. :spyder:
