• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Got yanked ?

When I reenlisted back then I was awarded a bonus because of my rating was critical. I received a check, I was so happy and I kept my check to savor the amount and not cashing it right away. Three weeks after they told me I need to return some of it because they made a mistake. I returned the check and gave me less. My point is If they made a mistake and whoever is responsible should pay their mistake and hold them responsible.

Therein lies the rub... :shocked:
How would a member of the Military Service have any idea, that the recruitment bonus was exceeding the authorized limits?
They always be allowed to keep the bonus, and let the financial bomb land in the laps of those who were breaking the rules... nojoke

Going once...:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

What I said in the other thread still goes for me. :yes::yes:

i didn't think it was political at all.
I would say it was not overtly political. However, there were some mild comments about which political operative was or was not responsible for whatever and which political figure should or should not have done this or that. I think Lamont has decided to take a firm position with regard to his rule about NO political post. I suspect he has decided the best way to prevent a conflagration is to not put out the fire, but prevent it from starting. This may mean sometimes snuffing the lighter or match regardless of how innocuous that flame may be in and of itself.

What we don't know, and have no way of knowing, is how many times someone has clicked on the report triangle for a post and he decided to not remove it.

Wow...!!

not only yanked...yanked and burried...usually they get blacken belted and locked then fade away...:dontknow:
