• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi all... I am looking for suggestions on how to better light up the rear of my F3 Limited. Any help is appreciated.. Thanks..

I had TricLED install the run/turn/brake lights on the rear. That helps a lot. I also installed TricLED's front fender amber and red lights. The red lights can be seen from the rear. You might as well install the saddlebag lights to light you up all around.

I put these on all my motorcycles. They are bright as hell, and cars really take notice.

What are the options for the F3-s ?

Tricled can fix u up with those as well. They are sponsors on the home page here and great to work with.
Lamonster Garage is getting rave reviews on his Fog lights as well, he is also on the homepage. Never have too many lights!

Wow...!!

there are tons....remember the tail end of these machines are basically no different that motorcycles. We have sponsors/vendors here with many choices as well as many aftermarket vendors you can find on the net. If you are a bit handy you can make your own or adapt some. I added additional turnsignals replacing the bulbs with red LED's and wired into the brake light (call them my outrigger brake lights). You will have fun shopping on this one....:thumbup:20160225_101925_resized.jpg

Throw another vote on the pile for our friends at TricLED... :2thumbs:
:agree: & a combination with the Rivco S.O.M.A. (Stay off my a**) image.jpgthe long led are tricled. the short modulate with brake & are rivco. I am well seen. Still want the front fender brake lights too. :2thumbs:

Custom dynamic brake and run lights!
Don't recall where i got the fenders lights, but some of our sponsors have them!
2nd and 3rd running and brake lights are home made!
If you want to be seen from all angles, change the fog and headlights to led!

Sorry didn't notice you need help with an f3! my bad!

TricLED rears will give you a comfort level

I have an F3 S, not an F3 Limited. But I dohave experience with some of the lights that are being discussed. I was atTricLED yesterday in Broward county, Fl., actually sitting in Reggy'soffice while he and Nestor (another GREAT guy) finished up my F3 when I sawthis thread. I believe the configurations are different because the F3 S reardoes not permit reconfiguration because the running, turn, and brake light areall interconnected. TricLED correct me if I am wrong.
HoweverI added the TricLED rear LED brake light and although it is almost impossibleto see in off mode because of its small form factor (which is a goodthing) when lighted it is at least twice as bright as the OEM brakelight. I consider this a great choice which increases my safety comfort level.Along with a lot of other things I added the fender red rear running lights. Anysuggestion this impairs vision is misplaced and it gives me added comfortlevel, especially at night.
Moreimportantly they are also turn signals along with the TricLed amber fenderlights. So you get amber sidelights and red rear facing lights blinking whenyou turn. I really like to see them blink about 18 inches outboardfrom the center turn lights to notify driver's behind me. And a biggiefor me is that I can now on a bright sunny day wearing sunglasses actually knowif my turn signal canceled properly. Before I really could not see theindicator in the screen, as others have complained. Now just a brief lessthan a second glance confirms my blinker status.
Asinfo for those concerned about distraction or visual impairment from the led's,there are only 10 lights set within 6.875 inches on the rear facingred fender lights as I measured a few minutes ago. They are not adistraction. My opinions are based upon arriving home in Clearwater, Floridaabout 1 hour ago after riding in the dark from my mom's house, about 30 minutesfrom Reggy's shop. He and Nestor did a great job lighting up my Spyder. Once Ifigure out how to do so I will postphotos.
Best regards,
John
