• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How many Spyders have you owned.....

I'm on my 3rd Spyder and have enjoyed everyone of them. Wish I could have kept them all put couldn't afford to do that. I do wish though that I could bring back my first one. That one has always been my pride and joy.

1) 2008 RED SM5 GS late edition....Fun and original! Rockstar status in the first years! 60,000 miles.
2) 2013 Pearl White RT Limited....Comfort with all the bells and whistles, Was very reliable and Great for touring! 26,000 miles.
3) 2016 Triple Black F3 Limited Special....Brings back lots of fun and excitement! 2600 miles so far.

Dang! :sour: I was so hoping that you had access to a time machine and had brought a Spyder back from the year 2026. I wanted to see a picture of it.

I have had 4.

2009 RS manual 25000 km traded on
2012 RTS auto 28000 km traded on
2015 RT LTD auto 30000 km still have
2008 GS manual bought used with 1200 km now has 4000 km and I still have it.
 
2010 RTS 43,500 miles traded
2014 RTL 23600 miles traded
2016 F3S 13,800 miles still riding
RT's more conformable on long rides but I like the sportier looks of the F3S. Have put 500plus mile on both models in a day

Recently bought a used 2015 RT-S special series with about 6000 miles on it. Have put 500 miles on it so far. Kept my Victory Vision just in case but loving it so far. Anxiously waiting to see and ride the new F3 limited before I start "farkling". I like the size and comfort of the RT but the seating position of the F3 (too many miles on a cruiser I guess) so I may be on to #2.
 
I'm on number 5. Recent purchase was a 2016 RT Limited. Kept going back to a 2 wheel but not anymore. I'm here to stay.
 
I'm on #2. My gray 2013 ST-S was totaled by a left-turning SUV a couple months ago and I just bought a black 2015 RT Ltd. I love the bigger engine and the generally more refined feel, but I'm definitely gonna have to invest in day-glo gear and maybe extra lighting.
 
On 5/9/16 I smashed into an Asian Black Buck on my Suzuki TU250X at about 60 mph. Suffered 8 broken ribs, a brain bleed, broken eye socket, lacerated scalp when the helmet tore off, lacerated knee, lacerated spleen, bad burn on left fore arm from mesh jacket scraping on the pavement and a broken finger. The bike was totaled. After 21 days in the acute care center I went home to recuperate.

My first wife said "Why don't you get a Spyder". Bad tactical blunder on her part. Within one week I had located a 2014 RTS SE6 with 4200 miles on it about 200 miles away with the extended warranty. I dug out my stash that I was saving for a new KTM and went shopping.

We have taken two 500 mile + trips and I love it. She says that she likes it as well. :yes::yes::yes:

So, only 1.

Between my wife and I we have had 5 all new. we started with the 2010 RT with the 622 trailer. She got a 2011 RS SE5,then I got the 2013 ST SE5 then She Got the 2016 F3,Then I Had to get one too, so now I think were done no I KNOW WHERE DONE. And we love them.
