• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just got my first Spyder Thursday night it's a 2015 F3-S SE6. Haven't really rode it much yet just to and from my short commute to work but so far I'M LOVING IT!!!!

:spyder: One, purchased a leftover 2013 ST-S in May of 2015. I love it!!!!!:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

I dunno that 'how many Spyders' conveys much more than a mild loyalty to the brand to me, so I'm way more interested in 'How many miles have you put on any one Spyder?' ;)

That, at least to me, implies a degree of solidarity & commitment to Spyders (or maybe just to A Spyder) & ryding far more than any numbered string of (relatively?) low mileage vehicles would; as well as displaying a degree of health, continuing physical durability, & a personal commitment to enjoying life that far outshines the repeated flitting from one to the next to the next as the seasons &/or colour preferences change or a new model hits the streets...... I reckon if you haven't had it more'n a year & put at least 20K on it, you didn't really OWN it, rather just had a fling! :lecturef_smilie: :rolleyes:

But then, I've only ever owned the one 2013 RT Ltd Spyder, & so far have only managed to cover just under 30,000 miles on it, altho I've done quite a few more miles (millions probably) in/on other vehicles, bikes, & Spyders, & plan on doing a whole bunch more on this one - so maybe my perspective is just a tad skewed! :dontknow: Then again, what is really skewed about it?? I also had lotsa 'girlfriends' & even a few 'flings' before I met & fell in love with my 'then-to-be' future Wife; & now, with 4 surviving Kids, 4 Grandkids (so far - 2 of the Kids are yet to commit to parenthood), & a whole lot of 'Living Life to the Fullest' behind us, we've been married for 36 on the whole wonderful years with (hopefully) quite a few more of them to come! :thumbup:

(Altho.... while I've always said & believe that marrying the 'Child Bride' was what's kept me young & young at heart, sometimes these days I wonder if mehbe it's just worn me out prematurely, trying so hard to keep up?!? :opps: :p .......

:joke: :clap:)

Wifes 2011 RT SM-5 end of year model became mine last year after 72,000 miles

In May of last year she got a SE6 RTS and I got to sell my Road King and run the gears until last Nov when I traded that 11 RT for another 15 base RT SE6.

She has 41,000 on hers and I only have 18,000 on my 15 RT---I can't keep up. So 3 Spyders all RT's

Two for Me:

1. 2008 GS SM5 owned it for 4 years 29k miles (20k of which I put on it)
2. 2015 F3-S SM6 since Feb 2016.

Loving Every moment.........:clap::clap::yes::yes::thumbup:

2 for me. Got a 2013 ST Limited in the spring, put around 2000 km's on it. Wife wanted a back rest, I wanted more power, so I bought a 2016 RTS around 3 weeks ago.

Just one. I sometimes think I'd like to upgrade to an ST, but we've got our GS SM5 set up the way we like it and see no need to change. It runs just fine, no more heat issues or alignment issues, and not plagued with the electronic gremlins of some of the later year models.
