There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My wife and I go there often as we have family there.
As far as I know there are no rentals there for Spyders.
Before you go, get a list of the BRP dealers there if any
and give them a call. You can rent motorcycles in Hilo
at the Harley dealer near Uncle Billy's Resort

I thought the place that rented the Spyders out a few years back had folded & there was no longer anywhere left on any of the Islands where you could rent a Spyder!! :shocked:
It might've changed in the last 12-18 months or so, but there certainly wasn't anywhere you could rent any model of Spyder when I went searching back then! :banghead:

They used to have rental Spyders at the Maui Scooter Shack. We rented one for a day and did the Hana Highway. Could not find other Spyder rentals on the other Islands. I know of a personal Spyder on Kauai, we saw a couple on Oahu and one other on Maui.
The problem with Hawaii and Spyder is there is no dealer that services them. Our rental was pretty beat up and had not had proper service.
Have not heard any changes from the above. Another problem with Spyder and the Islands is that you quickly run out of places to ride. There are a lot of scooter rentals as well as HD bikes available though.
