• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Does anyone know if a standard unit comes loaded with Canada (maps) ? If it does can you pick m.p.h. or k.p.h. on the display ?
Thanks.

We circled Lake Superior and had no problem with GPS in Canada. I changed to kph on Spyder speedometer. To check just try and enter a destination in Canada and see if it works.

Do not have the unit yet, checking ahead.
Was wondering if the displayed speed on the GPS unit showed m.p.h. or k.p.h. and if you had the choice.

If your Spyder or Zumo 660 was purchased in North America, then the 660 will come pre-loaded with Garmin's City Navigator NT for North America maps (full coverage). This includes "continental" USA, and ALL of Canada.

Also, yes, the speed indicator on the main navigation screen can easily be set to Km/Hr, or MPH, depending on your preferences, set by the user via the Settings icon.

Cheers
