Play in grips?

So I just installed the short reach bars due to the Corbin seat moving me back about 3 inches. After install, I noticed a very slight play in both grips. What I mean is, when I grap the bars like normal, and put pressure as if turning, there is movement in both grips just slightly, without the handlebar moving. I even removed and replaced to make sure the pin on the grip retainer was properly installed. Anyone else notice this?

I Installed short reach bars.

Should not be any play at all.
