• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

No Hitch Required

You should be able to easily surpass 600 miles!
I've taken my bike to 236 miles so far, and had over a gallon left in it...

IBA rules say 350 miles. Before you have to stop. I can do that easily. If I leave the coffee in the Monster Energy Drinks Alone

Am I reading this wrong? http://www.ironbutt.com/ridecerts/getdocument.cfm?DocID=3

WARNING: If your motorcycle is equipped with a large fuel-tank, please note that you must stop at least once every 300 miles for gas (this is purely for documentation for your ride). Although we know it is possible to ride greater distances non-stop, we will not accept a claim of this type.

Finally making some progress on this project as well as others. Rain has been crazy this year we got 20" in the last 3 days... been like that off and on since January. Finally got a hole in the ground and after a couple of weeks of rain we got 9 days of no rain... instant building.

Press Brake should be done tomorrow, just waiting for some heavier springs for it.

Laying out some parts for the plasma cutter for the hitch... I'm stoked to finally get this project together.

Hmm, just looked over at the plasma cutter and it is covered in stuff... need to clean it off.

Great Idea

Looks like a great idea, and very well made, JT. I'll bet you'll sell lots of these.

Thanks, I just need to get past the go point in making them... been quite a struggle for me.

 Dont wanna add too much to your plate but will you offer different sizes? Maybe a fuel cell set like CMA/IBA has?? :dontknow: Thanks

YIPPIE!Got the Press Brake done this morning and the quality of the bend it superb and I'm stoked how well it works. Now to fire off a couple of carriers to work out the bugs.

Wow I have been super busy... finally getting the NHR Carrier to the top of the plate dispenser!

NHR Carrier V5 01.jpg

The new press brake works great and I can now make precision bends in 11ga sheet metal. That is V5, yep I've built 5 versions before I was 1000% happy with the design and function. Fixing to drill some holes in #1 and powder coat it so it's ready for Spyder Palooza Thursday. While I'm powder coating I'll be plasma cutting out the first batch. I'm so stoked to get this project finally behind me.

Yippie! #1 is done and fixing to be installed on my Spyder. I even have some parts are done for the first production run next week.

Leaving for Spyder Palooza in the morning so I'll resume production next week. I should have them in stock late next week. For now I'm offering them in powder coat only, I do have chrome powder coat... I'm thinking of 4 versions depending on your needs. Check the web site for updates to the options.

Trip to Spyder Palooza and I'm super excited about the NHR Carrier it exceeds my expectations.
