• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Cheap Saddlebags

On Ebay I keep seeing these universal saddlebags made from ABS for around $100. I know that ABS is much less expensive than fiberglass. Has anyone tried them? Are they just a cheap piece of junk?

Never tried them. But what type of machine do you have. F3 or Rs or?

I have the cortech 2.0 tailbag bag and saddle bags setup. Works great for me and they will run around 150 for the saddle bags and 100 for the tail bag I believe in usd.

They have rain covers and zipper opens up to expand all bags.

I have an F3 and would prefer hard saddlebags-just don't want to spend $1300. In my experience ABS isn't really bad if done right.. I think that's what the Spyder tupperware is. So are the $100 hard bags worth a shot?

I have the shad bags and love them. They are half the price and look and work great.20160712_194438.jpg

So no one ever tried or has an opinion of $100 ABS saddlebags ??

I had them on my motorcycle. You get what you pay for. The lids on mine lifted up after a while and would not seal very well. I would not buy them again.

On my wife's F3 we put on K40 Kappa bags with the K151 Wingrack 2 brackets. The Kappa bags are waterproof and will hold a full face helmet each. You can get both off eBay.

FYI
It's very hard to find Kappa's in the USA. Tour N Ride is one of few that sell Kappa's and they don't have the wing rack's. I found a set of Givi wing racks and have Kappa Bags

Looks like not:dontknow: You got a link , would help identify same bags or not:thumbup: the quick search I did found only soft bags for under $100

Easy brackets are exactly what I had in mind. Just want to know what you all think of the $100 ABS bags.
