• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I e-mailed Steve, [email protected] 2 weeks ago. Have not received a reply. Also, it was not bounced back as undeliverable. Do I have the e-mail correct? :dontknow: Tom :spyder:

 I'm sorry to hear that... :banghead:
I've recorded some of the voices from "inside my head". You can listen to them, if you want!

Steve and I have touched base with each other. More to follow. Kyle at Rusty's installed the longer antenna. FM Reception is some what better. But still hit and miss. Works, doesn't work. No AM or NOAA at all. Hoping for a fix from BRP. Tom :spyder:

Hi Tom,
Please let me know how this all works out. I've been fighting with my lack of reception for over two years... :banghead:

Well

Probably the next step in the process. Hate losing my Spyder every time it goes in. :banghead: Tom :spyder:
You could stop listening to the radio! I mean what woul you miss in any given hour you get 20 minutes of music (if you are lucky) 30 minutes of mind numbing commercials an 10 minutes of Station IDs. Connect your phone with music on it to a headset and listen to what you want to, not what they want you to hear! The nice thing is that no one else will have to hear your radio either! The next time I turn on my radio, will be the first!:yes::yes: You shouldn't have to loose your Spyder for the sake of radio commercials!

I paid for a working radio. If I wanted to listen to an IPOD I can and do that also. The IPOD works awesome. But, it's my choice NOT yours. Refund what the radio costs and the labor to install it. A $1000 would do nicely! Tom :spyder:

Bob that's what I'm basing my complaints on. My RTS radio was flawless. Worked everywhere I went. Including Canada. Tom :spyder:

:agree: I also use an I-Pod, and an XM receiver...

But it's nice to have the capability of pulling some FM stations too!

Agree with you 100%. It's ridiculous that BRP can't or won't solve this. You pay for a radio you ought to be able to listen to it.
Rick

Why would even hope that BRP would care about anything that doesn't involve a liability or a government forced recall.
Have you ever had trouble with them not listening to you? :dontknow:
I haven't... ;)
Does that mean that I always get what I want?
Of course not.
But they have always made me feel as if they want the ownership of my Spyder to be a positive aspect of my life.

Lucky you,:yes::yes::yes:reading the forum, that's not the normal. And we all are aware that negative is posted more than positive, but the ratio is still way off. The 2013 delayed/denied recall is a prime example. IMO in light of the fact that these bikes are not a $50 cheap Chinese POS, BRP should have a dept that is available for communication with the customer, OH, I forgot the end user isn't their customer, the dealer is their only customer.

IMO BRP should be giving Lamott a blank check, he is providing them with thousands and thousands of R&D each year and sadly it appears that they ignore it. Anti swaybar, windshield connector, crap tires...etc...etc. IMO if they really cared, when someone had a problem that wasn't obviously OP error, they could communicate with a PM, to provide "CARE".

Lucky you, :yes::yes::yes::yes:
